Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Palermo – Street Food, Markets & Monuments
Arrive in Palermo and begin your journey with a sensory immersion into Sicily’s capital. After breakfast, a private transfer whisks you into the heart of the city for a chef-led tour of Capo Market—alive with the calls of vendors, the scent of citrus, and sizzling street food. Taste arancini, sfincione (Sicilian pizza), panelle, and fresh cannoli, all while learning Palermo’s hidden history from one of its most charismatic food insiders.

In the afternoon, meet Bianca, our expert local guide, for a walking tour of Palermo’s architectural and cultural highlights, including the golden mosaics of Cappella Palatina, the majestic Cathedral, and the story-filled corners of Quattro Canti and Piazza Pretoria.

Stay: Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel – an elegant waterfront retreat with historic charm and serene gardens.

Day 2

Coastal Flavors – Mazara del Vallo & Wine by the Sea
After breakfast, travel to the enchanting coastal town of Mazara del Vallo. Explore the town’s Arab-Norman roots in its atmospheric Kasbah quarter and visit the famed Dancing Satyr, one of the Mediterranean’s most extraordinary classical bronzes.

Enjoy a light lunch and wine tasting at Gorghi Tondi Winery, located in a protected WWF nature reserve overlooking the sea. In the evening, dine seaside at Da Vittorio, a legendary address for Sicilian seafood.

Stay: Momentum Resort, Selinunte – a contemporary eco-resort nestled among olive groves.

Day 3

The Temples & The Table – Agrigento & Mandranova
Today begins with a journey to the awe-inspiring Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. With a private guide, explore one of the world’s most important archaeological sites—home to soaring Greek ruins surrounded by almond trees.

From there, head to Mandranova, a stylish countryside estate known for its olive oil and warm hospitality. Owner Silvia welcomes you into her kitchen for a hands-on cooking class using ingredients grown on the property. Prepare traditional recipes, taste award-winning oils, and enjoy a relaxed dinner under the stars.

Stay: Mandranova Farmhouse & Resort – a beautifully restored farmhouse that embodies Sicilian rural elegance.

Day 4

Golden Mosaics & Flavors of the Land
After a relaxed breakfast, visit Mandranova’s olive mill to learn how their oils are crafted. En route back to Palermo, stop at a rustic baglio (Sicilian farmhouse) for a countryside lunch featuring rare regional recipes and family stories.

If time allows, pause in Monreale to explore its UNESCO-listed cathedral—famed for its glittering Byzantine mosaics. Back in Palermo, enjoy dinner at leisure or allow us to recommend a final unforgettable table.

Stay: Grand Hotel et des Palmes – a storied city-center hotel with modern design and a legacy of literary and artistic guests.
